Artlab Australia Disaster management Workshop with History Trust of South Australia held at Artlab.

Australian Library and Information Association’s (ALIA) new Disaster Management Resources are the result of a major research project into disaster management in libraries in Australia.

Heather Brown, Assistant Director at Artlab Australia, refers to the outcome of the research which revealed there is a compelling necessity for libraries, small and large, to implement disaster management plans in their organisations. To safeguard important and historically significant collections against natural and man-made disasters, ALIA’s Disaster Management Resources are a valuable tool which can be tailor made for the individual requirements of libraries across the nation.
